Rafael Silveira is a fine artist with a strong background in the graphic arts. The majority of his works consists in oil and acrylic paintings that mixes a classical atmosphere with contemporary techniques and subjects, especially cartoon imagery. In the journey of expanding his artistic vocabulary, Silveira established a dialogue between his paintings and new mediums, such as wood sculpture, collage, among others. He currently lives and works in Curitiba, the south of Brazil
