Mac Miller Tribute by Gz Jr.

Venice, California-based painter Gustavo Zermeno Jr. just completed a tribute mural to Mac Miller for what would have been his 27th birthday last January 19 (Miller died in Studio City, Calif. on Sept. 7 of an accidental overdose). The mural is 11-feet x 50-feet and covers the entrance of Express Label, a custom printing and graphic design firm on Beverly Blvd.



Zermeno started the mural on Friday, Jan. 18, and finished just a day after. “Besides relating to a lot of what he talks about, I feel like he understood life on another level. He drops a lot of knowledge in his verses.” Zermeno tells Music On Walls.
