Jef Aérosol - Living Stones

The exhibition "Living Stones" by french street artist Jef Aérosol, presented at the Laurent Strouk Gallery, brings together an unprecedented set of works made in 2016. For the occasion, the artist chose to continue his recent investigations around the stenciled treatment of sculptures Antique. It extends this theme and draws its inspiration from the World Heritage (Mount Rushmore, the Giants of the Easter Island ...) and the History of Art ( "The Venus of Milo", "The Veiled Virgin" by Giovanni Strazza ...). Next to it is the representation of individuals, anonymous, in order to probe the "representation" of the human being.
